Drip, drop, drip, drop…   
Hay Lin gazed out of the window of the closed Silver Dragon restaurant, watching as a light rain began to shower the city of Heatherfield. To think she had been living here all of this time, and yet never noticed how calming watching the rain could be. Or how it could make you think back.   
She recalled how much time she had spent with her dear friends when they were all young. All of the jokes they told, all of the things they did, all of the secrets they shared. She couldn’t help but smile. Things seemed so much simpler then. Even while she had been LIGHT - Book 1, Chap 5

Classes were always boring at some point. Everyone knew that. There could be bright sides to fun classes, but there could be bad sides too. In Imogen’s mind, whenever there was a bright side, there was an opposite to it for everything.  
 
Don’t take this the wrong way, Imogen wasn’t extreme when it came to being negative. She was positive a lot of the time, despite her wardrobe’s colour scheme. But a part of her always wanted to find a bad side of something in order to make choices easier in a way, or to know the full story.

Ling tapped the end of her pencil against her chin as she tried to think of an answer. Yes, once again, the class had been hit with one of the most dangerous weapons that teachers could use against them. A pop quiz. The horror, the horror. At least to the classmates who had ignored everything in the last month of History lessons.  
 
Sometimes Ling felt as though she and Gabby were two of the only people in the class who actually paid attention. If doing last minute homework and revising counted for Gabby.

AH! Cold, cold! Those were the very first thoughts that popped into Gabriella Smith’s mind. She sat upright in her bed, hands shooting up to the back of her head as she woke with a start. This may have happened more than once, but it was still a great surprise to her. After all, a splash of water on the back of her head was not the kind of wake-up call she expected.   
Oh, perfect! Why does this keep happening to me? she thought irritably, wringing the wetness from her hair as her eyes darted in all directions, looking for the source of the water.

Okay, I've started posting vids on Youtube and I don't think I'll be getting any art on here for now, Not even coloured drafts. Just to warn you. Then again, I've been artfully dead for ages. DX

Second, has anyone had any trouble uploading documents onto FF.NET or is it just me? I can't think of another way to ask anyone, and I don't know how to contact anyone who work at FF. I've finally finished chapters and I'm being punished by not being able to upload them. Why me? T-T

Other than that things are going smoothly. I'm going back to school on Monday... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think there's a new student coming and I'm worried that we'll have nothing in common, they won't like me and such. It just feels awkward when that happens. :(
